One of the highlights of Britney Spears's VMA appearance was at the end of her
"performance" as the music stopped and she silently mouth a thank you to the crowd. It wasn't really a thank you. It was an "I'm sorry." You could tell that she knew. She knew she sucked. She knew she sucked majorly!
Oh yeah, we also loved it when she almost tripped running offstage when she was done!
As soon as she was over with her performance, she started "crying badly [backstage]. She's devastated. She was really nervous and knows she screwed up," Us Weekly is reporting.

Meaghan Jette Martin (born February 17, 1992[1]) is an American actress, singer and dancer who is best known for her role as Tess Tyler in the Disney Channel original movie Camp Rock and Camp Rock 2. She also starred in the now canceled ABC Family television series 10 Things I Hate About You as Bianca Stratford.
Martin was born in Las Vegas, Nevada and has two brothers and one sister. She started modeling at age five.[1] Martin also appeared in several community theater productions in Las Vegas such as Peter Pan and performed for her Showteam and later made her professional theater debut in a Los Angeles production of 13.[1][2] She appeared in several television commercials such as for Cabbage Patch Kids and Barbie.[1]Martin has a rescue dog.
Martin made her television debut in 2006, with the television pilot Cooking Rocks! It was followed by roles in programs such as Nickelodeon’s Just Jordan and CBS’s Close to Home, as well as a guest stint in the Disney Channel series The Suite Life of Zack & Cody. She was eventually cast as the lead antagonist in the Disney Channel original movie, Camp Rock, which also stars Demi Lovato and the Jonas Brothers.
Martin was selected by TV Guide in 2008 as one of the "13 Hottest Young Stars to Watch".[3] She was the online host for the 2008 Disney Channel Games.
Martin also voiced the character Naminé in all subsequent releases in Kingdom Hearts series, replacing Brittany Snow, who did not return to the series.
Martin starred in the ABC Family sitcom 10 Things I Hate About You as Bianca (originated by Larisa Oleynik in the film version). She also had the role of Megan Kennedy in the independent film Dear Lemon Lima. Martin filmed the sequel to Camp Rock, Camp Rock 2: The Final Jam, reprising her role as Tess Tyler, which will be released on September 3, 2010 on Disney Channel. It was announced that Martin will star in the upcoming film Mean Girls 2. It will be the sequel to the 2004 film, Mean Girls. [4]
Martin recorded two solo songs in Camp Rock, "Too Cool" and "2 Stars". Martin sang a version of "When You Wish Upon a Star" for the 2009 re-release of Disney's Pinocchio, as well as appearing in the related music video. She has also recorded a song for the Wizards of Waverly Place Soundtrack called "Magic (Xanadu)". Martin has partnered with Build-A-Bear Workshop for their "Love.Hugs.Peace" movement. For the ad campaign, she recorded a special version of "Let's Talk About Love".
Martin also appeared in Demi Lovato's music video for the song "Remember December".
Martin will not be a part of the Jonas Brothers World Tour 2010 along with Jonas Brothers, Demi Lovato, and the cast of Camp Rock 2: The Final Jam, because she is filming Mean Girls 2. Martin announced via Facebook that she had won the role of Jo in the film.
